In Europe it is very expensive. So not everybody is able to get it. Especially in Germany it is difficult to optain it. The only way to get it is to close a deal with a special phone community. On account of this just less people in Germany are able to own it. But I also will test it.

Re: Top 10 apps from iPhoneDevCamp

sdfsdfsdf

Re: Top 10 apps from iPhoneDevCamp

I made a pretty hompage for the pool (iphone app, barcamp). It contains the latest information, source code, and updates for Tilt the first motion controlled iPhone game. To play Tilt rotate your iPhone to help Flip eat falling butterflies and leaves of matching color.

Here’s the main link page for the Tilt iPhone game.
Here's the link to play from your iPhone.
Here’s the story of how we made Tilt in a weekend.

Have Fun!

Nicole Lazzaro
President XEODesign, Inc.

Re: Top 10 apps from iPhoneDevCamp

safari displays a blank page when you open it, or the last thing you had open. It pops up and asks you for an address right away. I would assume this is so it doesn't waste time loading a home page you probably don't want to see every time anyways, particularly when you're on the EDGE network which is a bit slower, saves you some unnecessary clicks on the whole probably.

Re: Top 10 apps from iPhoneDevCamp

If there isn´t "homepage" on iPhone what Safari display when i run it?

Re: Top 10 apps from iPhoneDevCamp

I didn't make it to iPhoneDevCamp, but did build a jabber/google talk application for the iPhone over the weekend.

Give it a try at foneim.com. It's still a bit rough around the edges, though I will be improving it a lot over the next few weeks.

spencer

Re: Top 10 apps from iPhoneDevCamp

nice post... I assume you guys are seeing what is going on over at http://iphone.fiveforty.net... in terms of iPhone "liberation"

BTW, nice blog, though your content scoots to the very bottom on smaller screens (one of my laptops is a 12" tablet)... CSS display:inline can have that unintended effect... can prob be fixed with a wrapper around everything, with a pecified minimal width (e.g. 1200px), that will keep the space for the content to align to the right. You may also want to switch the sidebar to the right side, as that'll deprecate better if portions of it are out of the display area on the right edge of the screen...

Just my $0.02, no offense ya?

Re: Top 10 apps from iPhoneDevCamp

Re: iTunes remote: one easy way would be to use the iPhone to connect a simple ajax remote control interface on the macbook's web server, and use a server side script like the one highlighted in the following tutorial: http://whatsmyip.org/itunes...

Re: Top 10 apps from iPhoneDevCamp

I don't have an iPhone, so I would have no clue. Maybe they will come out with a firmware update that allows iPhone Safari users to have a home page.
